Celebrity Wrestling: Week 4

Well its the half way point. Last week the Crusaders took a 2 point lead over the Warriors who lost 2 team members to injury. Victoria Silvestedt twisted her knee against Leilani Dowding and Oliver Skeete was told that his first week shoulder injury was going to keep him out the competition. Victoria's knee has healed since and DIY man Phil Turner has been brought in to replace Oliver.

Fight 1
Jenny Powell vs Kate Lawler
These 2 are both undefeated but Kate is the only woman to take a full 3. Round 1 is Sumo Slam. A very impressive flip takes the first game from Kate but I was concentrating on her outfit. Its always looked vunerable and just proved it with a very nice breast poking out. Jenny holds Kate off to take a valuble point 1-0. Round 2 is my favourite. Wrecking Ball. Kate is smarting from her defeat and takes 2 reds easily. Another 2 reds fall along with 2 blues but the bell rings at 4-2. D-Lo isn't happy about what he saw as Kate moving around the ball which would result in a disqualification. That is the case as the replay shows but referee Ian Freeman gives Kate the point. Round 3 is another one of my favourites, Chain Reaction. Jenny immediately shows her dominance taking 2 quickly but Kate takes back 2. At 2-2 Kate just takes back 2 with 3 seconds left to claim victory undisputed.
Final Score
Jenny 1 - Kate 2

Fight 2
Lee Sharpe vs Phil Turner
The substitutes fight now. Round 1 is Raging Pull. Its slow but Phil's weight advantage eventually pulls through. The same happens next time. For the 3rd bout Phil decides to defend and Lee can't shift him. Lee takes the point 2-0. Round 2 turns out to be the awesome Murderball. Lee gets the tip but Phil makes the steal easily and lobs it in. However Lee is outside the ring in clear pain and the goal is disallowed. Lee is carted off to the medical room and yet another substitute is brought in. It makes no difference as Phil buries the ball to give the Warriors the lead back. The official word from Lee is that he has at least cracked a rib. Round 3 is Lockdown in the cage. No-one leaves until one of these men is chained up. Its a one sided bout and Phil makes his 3-0 demolition look easy.
Final Score
Phil 3 - Lee/Scott 0

Fight 3
Michelle Heaton vs Annabel Croft
These 2 don't stand a chance in the individual competition. Annabel only took 1 from her first fight and Michelle drew a blank. Round 1 is Gate Crash and here comes the Masked Celebrity striding on without fear. Annabel is first to take her on. She puts MC close to the edge but can't deliver the finishing blow due in part to the MCs 3st weight advantage. Michelle now has the task and she doesn't look confident. Both fighters hit the gate at the same time and the impact knocks Michelle down for the MC to take an easy win. Same again next time but despite a very awkward fall she comes up again to get beaten again. The medical team are called out to deal with Michelle's leg but its not serious enough to take her out the fight. The MCs identity is unimportant as Michelle's leg is enough to take her out the next event. Shauna Loury is the replacement for Pendulum of Pain but Annabel refuses to be intimidated and takes her out. In bout 2 Shauna takes the full force of the pendulum to her back but Annabel can't quite take the advantage. Round 3 is Rip Wrestling. Shauna shows she has got some bite after all and throws an elbow into Annabel's face. Some impressive defence helps but its Annabel who rips off the sleeve at last.
Final Score
Michelle/Shauna 0 - Annabel 2

So after a pinful night here are the team scores.
Crusaders - 15
Warriors - 19

There are 2 weeks until the team trophy is awarded. After that the leading individuals take on each other for the belts. Also next week we'll have the first rating figures for the series. See you then.
