Celebrity Wrestling: Week 3

The usual weekly update.

Midweek
Oliver Skeete is still walking around with his arm in a sling. Its the worst news possible as he is told that he will not be able to compete for the rest of the competition. It remains to be seen who will take his place against Jeff Brazier next week.

Round 1
Jeff Brazier vs Iwan Thomas
In Ram Rod Iwan took the 2-1 victory in what was quite frankly an uneventful match. Murderball too was uninspiring with Jeff only needing 2 tip-offs to bury the ball. Chain Reaction however proved to be far more entertaining as Iwan seemingly dominated. However Jeff pulled it back with 2 seconds left to claim a draw and prevent anyone scoring. After 3 games it turned out to be 1-1 with no-one managing to take the advantage.

Round 2
James Hewitt vs Marc Bannerman
Its Raging Pull in game 1 against the masked celebrity. Definately a showman this week and also a very big man. That size proves useful as he disposes of James twice in less than 10 seconds. He proves to be even more useful as he also takes out Marc 2-0 with just as much ease. Adding insult to injury the masked celebrity turns out to be Mr Beer Belly himself Neil 'Razor' Ruddock. Armed and Dangerous has hardly produced many memorable moments but James has clearly taken a liking to it. He absolutely destroys Marc who clearly has some balance issues 2-0 and then nearly takes him down from the floor. Sumo Slam has produces some real interesting moments and is another one of James' favourites which he immediately proves by dumping Marc with ease but has to really defend when he's grabbed by the crotch on the edge of the podium. He hangs on though to take 2 much needed points. Marc's after fight speech even brings a smile to D-Lo's face when he brings on his James impression.

Round 3
Leilani Dowding vs Victoria Silvestedt
Neither of these 2 have won a fight. However there is great resentment from everyone (including the Warriors) towards Victoria over her lack of focus and committment. Leilani has an immediate advantege in game one as she's played Wrecking Ball before. Victoria is cautioned quickly for letting go of the ball Leilani takes 2 free skittles. Victoria however quickly loses her grip again and moves right next to Leilani. D-Lo and Leilani both go ballistic and Victoria is disqualified dispite being 4-2 up. Victoria pays an even bigger price by taking a real ear-bashing from Joe Legend. A new game for game 2 with Lock Down. Victoria causes more grief for the coaches by losing her helmet early on. However its a scoreless game which Leilani takes on a refs decision. Legend is quick to take the matter up with ref Ian Freemen but is confronted by Leilani, a matter which D-Lo takes personally. Victoria is complaining of a hurt knee as she prepares for game 3. Things don't look good as the medical team declair that she can't fight in game 3. She is replaced by model Emma B for Rip Wrestling in the cage. A slow game compared to other games of Rip Wrestling we've seen but brilliant tactical fighting leads a full house for Leilani.
