Still looking through Neo and spotting a few things.
Cancer scientists have found a new cancer causing gene. The gene has been named POK Erythroid Myeloid Ontogenic factor or POKEMON for short. According to the researchers POKEMON is a main switch in the molecular structure that leads towards cancer.
Sales of Kit-Kats have soared in Japan as students approach the exam period. According to BBC News Kit-Kat sounds like the japanese good luck phrase kitto katsu which translates as 'I hope you win'.
Sales of manga in France account for 30% of all comic book sales. The average price for a standard manga stands at 6.40 euros. That translates as about £4.40 here (or just under £6 when Gordon Brown's had his bit). WHY ARE WE NOT GETTING THEM? I DEMAND A REASON!
More sweet news pulled from the pages of Neo later including The Official Anime DVD Chart and the release schedules for the rest of March and April.
In other news btw, the Nintendo DS has become the fastest selling console ever breaking the record set by the Gamecube. According to ChartTrack the DS sold over 82,000 units in it's first 2 days of sale. That's 19,000 more than the GC managed in the same time.
