It would seem to me that there is an unwritten, unspoken agreement between Tales of Symphonia players.
If you have finished it and therefore know the story and you are talking to someone who is working through it.....
Do not talk about the story.
Every person I talk to who's played or is playing ToS has always resisted talking about the story. Nothing's even slipped out accidentally and from one of my mates who has no problem revealing storylines that is unusual. This game really does have an effect on you.
