Read The Small Print
Freaking Jo, told me the wrong pay amount so I can't do what I was planning with this pay. So I have to improvise by getting some other stuff that I need, not Canada stuff though. I'll start work on that shopping list closer to May. Maybe time to catch up on CD buying. Or a new DS game so I don't end up playing Brain Training endlessly.

Celebrity Big Brother 5: Launch Night
25 days. Just under 4 weeks.

Once again there is a double bed which will have to be shared by at least 2 people. Bathroom's shrunk quite significantly it seems, as always no cameras covering the shower or crapper. Or locks. Lots of space in the bedroom and living room, dining table nicely gothic I think. Bridge to nowhere stays thankfully, provided some good watching in the summer. Workout area back, not much there really. There's a little printer/postbox in the house which will enable the viewers to ask questions to the housemates. Diary room remains unchanged from the summer. So lets get some people in there.

Ex-member of the Jackson 5 and brother of Michael. Has servants and is very picky with them apparantly. Dear god he's going to be hilarious living without everyone doing stuff for him. He enters wearing a coat I'd certainly like, seems to have his brother's dress sense. Seems fairly at ease as he walks around inspecting the house.

Girlfriend of Teddy Sheringham and ex-Miss Great Britain. Was stripped of her crown after her relationship with Teddy (a judge in the contest) was discovered. Is booed on her way in interestingly.

The most famous English film director according to him. Says he's fascinated by the program and was ecstatic when he got the call. His entering outfit is something that not even Noel would consider. Sings in the rain as he heads up to the stage. He is going to be hilarious. Says he relates most to Pete from last year. Seems quite drunk on excitement and adrenaline (or scotch).

S CLUB!! HELLYEAH!! Says that being in the band was something she loved and hated. Is currently a dog breeder, now there's an interesting career progression. If I were to choose an S Club member to go in, she's not the one I'd choose (Hannah or Bradley) but any S Club is better than no S Club. Now if I could only remember to put all the S Club CDs I have onto my comp. Ken seems to have sobered up now.

Was yelled at for throwing a cigarette butt at Gerard Way during a record shop signing that MCR were doing to promote The Black Parade. Their PR manager yelled at them to 'get your own publicity'. Apparantly that's exactly what he's doing. Massive booing on entry.

Ex-member of Steps, describes the band as pure cheese. He's now a jobbing actor, doing it because he wants to show he's grown up from being that blonde knob in Steps. Recieves the sort of welcome Barrymore got last year. A few boos sneak in as he climbs the steps. Donny has on a face of pure thunder at the sight of him.

Fanboygasm
The Stamper Brothers, founders of development studio Ultimate, later known as Rareware and again later as simply Rare have left the company. Cue an army of Nintendo fanboys cheering and partying in the streets, since the sale to Microsoft Rare have been churning out a line of variable quality games which have completely failed to sell in the numbers expected of them. I'm hoping that the Stamper Brothers now set up a new studio, or even join Free Radical.

NJ's Canadian Adventure Update
NJ's Canadian Adventure is my trip to Toronto, Canada in May 2007 to visit primarily the Anime North convention. During the trip I'll also be visiting quite a few other places in the city. Its my first solo trip abroad and I'm being extremely ably assisted in the planning and execution by Nelly among the 11 others making the trip from within Canada itself.
So the hotel business is all done and forgotten. Good job too as the Doubletree hotel is completely booked for the con weekend. I also have all the basic info on the con as its finally gone up on the Anime North site. Staying up until 2am in the Yaoi North rooms bitches. Which will mean short walks back to the Doubletree early in the morning. Which is excellent.
But to flight business. This is something I'm rather techy about in all honesty, I'm not entirely secure with booking the flight from the Canada side no matter how much cheaper it may be. I need my passport first though and that particular business is underway. I've submitted my application and with any luck I get all that finished and have a nicely booked flight by the end of January.
That's the plan anyway. The Adventure is now officially happening this year. With every significant development and bit of progress I get more and more excited, visualising more and more about what could potentially happen and what is definately happening. On the list of definately happenings is yet another 7am train to London, my first ever trip to an airport, let alone the best in the world. Staying in a hotel for the second time, only this time instead of the freaks I call my family I'll be rooming with the freaks I'll hopefully be able to legitimately call my friends by the end of the week. Teaming up with the 3 mad fangirls and roommates named Nelly, Sarah and Jessica to explode as many minds as possible by making out with every guy in the Yaoi North rooms. Hopefully the making out will not be restricted to the Rennaissance Hotel where Yaoi North is taking place as a part of Anime North. People are endlessly bitching about Yaoi North being in a different hotel from the rest of Anime North but I prefer it like this, makes YN seem like more of a different con. Will also make it more noticable if I actually manage to get taken.....somewhere else to do stuff that should not be done in public.
